About Tradkind Investment

Tradkind Investments seeks to serve the sustainability needs of Macheke. We are a private firm founded by a small group of business professionals who were raised in Macheke. As such, the goal is to source funding to invest in various business initiatives whose focus is poverty alleviation. Poverty is defined in conditions of extreme hunger, prevalent disease and lack of education. We follow the social business model and seek to achieve success while contributing to the development of Macheke.

Sustainability involves the ability for people to live a quality life without depleting the natural, social and economic resources that future generations will depend on.  Similarly, sustainable development is a model of resource use which enables people to meet their needs while protecting nature’s life support system.  Our sustainability investment standards will feature the use of instruction and training to boost business capacity within a balanced space of environment, community and economy.

Our work is to identify important and doable action on a foundation of collaborative research. We will explore the theories, processes, best practices and conditions through which individuals, groups, and organizations learn and transform in ways that support a sustainable future. Our goal is to support sustainable innovation in Macheke. Our vision is to make a contribution towards the UN’s Millennium Development Goals 2015.
